Lakeview On Lake Winter - Rental Home/Cabin
02/10/2010The 'Lakeview' is nestled amongst tall pines and Lake Winter surrounds two sides of the property. There's a little peninsula where a huge white pine tree once stood. Now an eagle sits on the stump and benches made from the mighty pine, sit where it once stood. The 'point' offers great fishing right from shore and is a favorite spot for kids. It is also a great spot to sit and be entertained by the view. Parents can easily watch from the deck as kids fish from shore and play in the huge yard. The firepit is a favorite place in the evening. Plenty of firewood is provided.
'Musky Waters' on Lake Winter - Rental Home/Cabin
02/15/2010The 'Musky' grandly sits among the trees overlooking Lake Winter. The long wooded driveway in puts you into the laid back 'northwoods attitude' before you unload your car. Just listen to the peace and quiet and the sound of birds singing. Walk in the back door to see sparkling floors and wide open spaces. Decorated in a Fishing/Wildlife atmosphere with actual Lake Winter Walleye mounts on the walls. You know this is a great place to fish, relax, enjoy the huge green yard and your own private dock. Bring your own boat, atv's or snowmobiles. There's plenty of safe parking on site. The home has three large bedrooms, two full bathrooms (one with a soaker tub), two TV's with satellite TV channels. The kitchen is packed full of everything you'll need to make and bake your own meals. Lots of counter space, microwave, dishwasher and a breakfast bar area that includes over into the dining and livingroom areas. The cook is never left out! Walk out onto the huge deck on Lakeside and down onto the patio area with picnic table, and grill. Stroll down towards the dock, wet your line or hop on the pontoon paddleboat for a sightseeing tour of the lake. Later, build your campfire with firewood provided.

02/15/2010Fish from the dock, fish from shore, fish by boat, fish in the Winter time, fish off the paddleboat! Just Fish! Lake Winter an excellent fishing lake and is known for its large muskys and walleyes. You'll also catch crappies, perch, bass, sunfish. Kids catch panfish from shore, one after another, for the time of their lives! Even some adults get hooked on fishing from sunup to sundown.
Tuscobia Trail - Snowmobiling & ATVing
02/15/2010Park your trailer in your driveway and take off on your sleds or ATV's right from your door. Hop on the gorgeous Tuscobia Trail. The multi-use Trail runs East to West about 96 miles from the Park Falls area to Rice Lake. Hop on to many more miles and miles of trails that branch off the Tuscobia! Go the U.P. from here, or hit the famed 'Deadhorse' trail from here to Clam Lake & Mellen areas. Sawyer County alone boasts of over 600 miles of snowmobiling trails. Hop on and go right into the lovely little Village of Winter. Stop in at a local Pub or restaurant for a great meal and friendly faces.
